Spicy Hot Los Angeles Nightlife
It's nearly time to salsa, but
before you attend a Latin theme party or Cuban theme party or
join the salsa dancers at a Latin dance show, get in the tropical
vibe with some Cuban music and Latin food.
There's live entertainment at
Cafe Sevilla in Long Beach and Ciudad on Figueroa Street. If
you're in Hollywood, then there's plenty of choice, with Peruvian
food on offer at Mario's Peruvian and Seafood, and Cuban and
Latin cuisine at Casa Don Rolando.
If money is no object, then consider
splashing out on a meal at Beso or Dcache. There are also many
good restaurants in Westside, Santa Monica and the San Gabriel
Valley.
You can salsa every night of the week in Los Angeles. If you're
new to salsa, go to a club where you can start the evening with
a salsa lesson, otherwise you can go a bit later and start to
dance.
The clubs have the best DJs and
live bands and you'll soon be swaying to those distinctive salsa
sounds. Club Sachi has salsa on Wednesdays and mambo on Mondays,
while the Golden Sails Hotel offers dancing on Tuesdays.
Cohiba nightclub in Long Beach
is the place to be on Wednesdays, while El Principe offers salsa
action on Thursdays. To round out the weekend, check out Fandango,
Monsoon Cafe and Aqua Lounge. |
