Los Angeles Latin Theme Entertainment
Salsa dancers who are in search
of Latin music, Cuban music, bands and dancing should check out
the Festival de San Valentin in February.
Games, rides, carnivals and food
are all on offer at this event. The Healthcare Street Fair in
February is another chance to meet people from Central America,
South America, Mexico and the Caribbean.
Salsa fans will be sure to find
some other enthusiasts at this event. The Latin community holds
an Easter street fair in March while 20 Latin American nations
take part in the Mother's Day Celebrations in May.
It's a great opportunity to listen
to some salsa music and do some dancing. There's a similar celebration
in June for Father's Day.
The MacArthur Park Festival in
September is also aimed at the local Latino community. Latin
music is also on offer for salsa enthusiasts at the Festival
de las Americas in October. To round out the year, there's another
chance for salsa fans to dance at the Festival Navideno de Calle
Ocho.
There are many other events which will appeal to salsa enthusiasts
and others. Watch marching bands at the Tournament of Roses in
January, just before the Rose Bowl game. Live bands also play
at the City of Los Angeles Marathon in March.
Spectacular annual events include
the Chinese New Year and Lantern Festival in January, which is
celebrated by almost 100,000 people. In February, leave the Los
Angeles City Harbor to watch the migration of the whales. And
don't miss the year end Hollywood Christmas parade. |
